Jake Uwland

Jake Uwland is a primary school teacher in Melbourne, Australia who writes children's picture story books. 

"Tom cannot wait to get to the playground for a day of fun and adventure in the sand pit and on the giant swing set. However when he arrives, he discovers Ash the Dragon sitting alone and upset on a bench at the playground because no one wants to play with him. It's not until Tom decides to show the other kids at the playground that Ash is no different to any of them, that the other kids realise just how much fun Ash really is." The Unhappy Dragon

Simona Paravani-Mellinghoff is a book author and a world-citizen by nature. The Kids' Pocket Guide to the World is written for adult and children ages 8 to 12+ tells five stories of strong women living in different parts of the world from Kenya to Europe showing different cultures, life styles, places and people and introducing the reader to a number of topical themes from migration to poverty, from healthcare access to social mobility.

Tammi Landry-Gilder is an author, wife, mother, and blogger who lives in West Bloomfield, Michigan, with her husband, two sons, two dogs, one missing frog (now presumed deceased), a bearded dragon, and too many fish in a tank to count. Her new book, "Stink Moves In", is the story of a boy who learns to love a hairy, pesky little rodent that has taken up residence in the boy's home. Stuart Anderson Harris

Stuart Anderson Harris from Manchester, England is the author of two children's books "The Pirate Shrew" and "The Archaeology Fox". 

"I wrote the two books out of telling story's to my children, I just decided to write one or two down instead and see what other people thought of them, it was actually a friend that recommended sending the Pirate Shrew to a publisher, and it's all gone from there!"
