Painting

Miguel Sopena

The Dénia series: The Tower, 120x90 cm, oil on canvas. The Tower is the first painting in my ongoing Dénia series, inspired by the town in Eastern Spain where I spent many Summer months with my family as a child and adolescent. These paintings do not refer to specific imagery but are based on emotional and sensory impressions accumulated over the years- Colours, sounds, textures, the mountains and the beach, the sea and the wind.

Yulia Amagi

Art is my life. The scope of my work varied. I am an artist-esoteric, practicing astrologer, songwriter, singer, writer, poet. In my life a world of mysticism and creativity are closely intertwined. I think that talent is what is given by God to man from birth and should be protected and developed. The idea of creative works derive from space and his own dreams. I'm right-handed and left-handed at the same time. The genre in which I write my paintings, what I call the "magical energy painting". It is very close to surrealism and fantasy.

Mahaloness

" think the imagination is perhaps one key ingredient in my art and artistic practice. It is with the imagination that I am able to develop a sense of curiosity, both for the natural world and the human created worlds that we inhabit. I am very much interested in the relationship between these two worlds. I am also interested in ancient art, some of which dates back to at least one hundred thousand years before present, and likely earlier. I am inspired by symbology and the visual language that has been passed down the line to artists like myself, and feel I have a responsibility to pass that forward."
