Bruno Catalano
Birth in Khouribga, Morocco, the young artist Bruno Catalano is the third and last child of sicilian family. In France he enrolls in Françoise Hamel’s modeling class in Marseille and learns from Italian sculptor Bruno Lucchesi.
In 1985 he opens his first art studio. He acquires an oven in which he bakes his first clay figurines. He exhibits at Marseille’s “Salon International de l’Art Contemporain”, at the “Salon d’Art Contemporainde la Bastille” at the “Salon de Bercy” and in Paris. His torn “travelers” appeal to an international clientele. His production increases accordingly.
