Zoltán André: Shrouded in Mist

The Liberty Bridge and the University of Economics on a foggy day: The Liberty Bridge connects Buda and Pest across the River Danube. Liberty Bridge was built between 1894 and 1896 and originally named after the Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria, who personally opened the bridge by hammering the last silver rivet on the Pest abutment. The bridge imitates the general outline of a chain-type bridge, which was considered an aesthetically preferable form at the time of its construction. (Source: Artodu)
