John Stanford, also known as Nigel Stanford, is one of the well-known Ambient and New Age composers from New Zealand. His debut album on White Cloud Records, called Deep Space, is characterized by total fusion of Trance and Ambient music.

Musician Nigel Stanford used AndyRobot‘s Robot Animator for Autodesk Maya to program these KUKA robots to make beautiful music together. On Facebook, he said their movements are accurate to 0.3mm — allowing them to precisely pluck a bass guitar string or bang a drum without breaking through the skin. Stanford tells StudioDaily the robot shots are all real; the lasers, explosions, and other elements of destruction were created by Ukrainian VFX firm Digital Axis from a CG toolbox that included ThinkingParticles software from Cebas Visual Technology. The video is available for digital download in HD or 4K, along with Stanford’s full album, Automatica. (Bryant Frazer - Studiodaily)
